A Rarity In Todays Modern World

A gorgeous 1920’s villa on the Great Ocean Road at Lorne has been enhanced while keeping its old soul feel, a rarity in today’s modern world!

The front garden has a soft dreamy Edna Walling feel, incorporating old trees and built structures; the original front steps are timeless. Rock walls have been incorporated to give strength and usable levels to both this front garden and the more utilitarian rear terrace. The beautifully stone terraced rear garden has lots of edible, usable plants, including an olive grove. It is always a pleasure to see a design of mine  grow and mature, especially when it is so genuinely cherished and well utilised by garden owners such as these. This garden will only get better with time.
